Sitting just off the north fork of the Loxahatchee River, with access to the Atlantic Ocean, and right across from the Turtle Creek Golf and Country Club, Heritage Oaks is a waterfront and tennis community in unincorporated Martin County, Florida, just over the dividing line with Palm Beach County. The mailing address for the community is Tequesta, the closest Palm Beach County city.

The Heritage Oaks Homeowner's Association maintains the private streets, common areas and common landscaping throughout the community, as well as provides for 24-hour manned, gated security.

Heritage Oaks enjoys lower taxes and other fees because of its location in Martin County instead of the more populated Palm Beach County - yet it is just a short drive to US Highway One, I-95 and the Florida Turnpike, and all the great amenities and attractions that the Palm Beaches and South Florida has to offer!
